Hi all Hubby and I have just got our hands on a 1989 Dandy 6 we are looking to refurb over the winter....it has been kept immaculate and so we are just looking to spruce it up....it may look retro but it is fabulously functional and we love it!

So....its been a while since I've last been on, although the hub has been dipping in and out!

We are keen to join in and attend a meet at some point. We have both managed to arrange xmas and new year off of work so will be going away in the Dandy (or the beast as I like to call it!!) any suggestions as to a location are welcome....

In terms of the re-furb....have managed to replace the ply in the beds which needed doing and we are now focussing on fitting some electrics (tastefully of course!) and maybe hooking up a leisure battery....exciting times!

Hope everyone is ok? Very Happy Very Happy

Just spent 10 minutes looking for our photos from Christmas camping last year 2011. Failed miserably. If anyone else can find them please link.
It wasn't very wintry though far better is Vicky photo from years past with inches of snow on their Dandy.

When you look for sites over the Christmas period check they are open, loads of sites say open all year but then you find they close Christmas day and boxing day

I certainly hope so, now I've booked the time off!!

Might book something soon to ensure we get in somewhere - or does xmas tend not to be busy?

You will probably find thee is no need to book too far ahead unless you want a specific site,we will be away Christmas again this year but wont think much about a site until September time,if there is no meet it will be an open invitation for any one to join us,
