Hatfield Water Park Doncaster Empty Hatfield Water Park Doncaster

What can I say about this site hmmmmmmm

Pitch sizes are okay but the noise of a major road nearby is quite irritating while trying to sleep.
Showers were not reliable and often dirty
There is a washing up area with a few sinks

The site is actually quite pretty but would benefit from better facilities, The lake is huge but you cant actually walk around it or see it from the site so that was a bit dissapointing too.

Would I go again ............ NO

Not a very good review but it is an honest one. £15 per night including EHU

The reviews on ukcampsites seem to say just what you do regarding it being a pretty site but poor facility's,when i googled the site there only appeared to be one field between the Motorway and pitches which for a poor sleeper like me is not good.

I def agree with Helen on this one, after a while you tend to ignore the noise of the traffic (being deaf in one ear helps a lot with this) but then it gets really loud again.

the showers were the worst part but at least we managed to laugh about it at the time

I did find that a few large glasses of wine followed by a few small bacardi and cokes helped me get to sleep even with the noise of the traffic Sleep

I also found that the beasty bugs did bite here........ a lot and still have marks on my ankles even now and yes I used insect repellent spray affraid
