    Hi everyone.

We bought our Dandy a long time ago. Its not been used for four years because of ill health but now we are getting the urge again.

Just hope the weather is better this summer.

We had many a happy holiday in it firstly with our lads sleeping in with us, then with them in pup tents, then just us until ill health got in the way.

It always drew admiring looks from tent campers, especially when it was raining!!!

New to site but not to Dandys Empty Old Hand

Post by kimmieto Sat 07 Apr 2012, 5:49 pm

    Hi Mike

That was one of the problems. The old hand is not what it used to be. Broke my wrist in all that snow in the January 2010, never been right since, and with the other half recovering from operations we just lost our vim and verve for putting the Dandy up. Hopefully it will return with the better weather. Assuming we've not had summer Laughing

Hi and welcome to the forum, at least you've found your vim and verve again .......... I tend to lose my mojo every now and then but as soon as we've set the Dandy up I seem to find it again lol!

Got a bit of work to do on it, and get a tow bar on the car but hopefully can do a weekend some time later in the year.

OH was never a camper so its difficult to get him motivated because I'm trying to get motivated myself.

New to site but not to Dandys 1217042266 Always nice to have another member, especially a member who can increase the knowledge base. Looking forward to hearing another set of views, tips and stories. Sounds like you might need to get the oil can out to lubricate your other half's spirit of adventure again. Hope to hear that your rig is back in service soon.

Kitchen is being replaced. Got a builder in so am sitting surrounded by boxes and bits and pieces from the removed kitchen.

Laptopping is not on the agenda at the moment. Just having a quick visit. Hope it will be worth it eventually.
