If you can live with dark blue corners that go down the poles i dont think it would matter if it was from a dark blue and at least that would increase your chances

Re: Wanted! Designer Sun Canopy
I'd tend to say go for an awning if you get the sides zipped you have both options.
If all you really want is a sun canopy it might be cheaper and get a quicker result to get a brown awning and remove the sides. You will have to devise something to tie the canopy down without the PVC "corners" that were produced for the canopy. I think you might have a bit of a wait for a genuine sun canopy.

Re: Wanted! Designer Sun Canopy
The leg corners don't really do much as they are far too long, they are more decorative than anything else. The sun canopies have little pockets just like the awnings where the roof poles slot in at the front and the guy ropes are also in the same place. This holds it all down rather than the leg covers (corners) that would flap about but I tuck the length up and wrap the bungee around then peg just so it look nice.
If you can get hold of a frame it would be fairly easy to make the canopy part.

Sun canopy
Hi
I have a sun canopy and 2 under bed skirts for my 1993 designer that I have never used.
I got them with the camper when I bought it in 1996.
I would consider selling them if the price was right, but postage would be quite expensive I think as they are heavy.
I live in Balloch Dunbartonshire Scotland.
I was just going to keep them till I sell the camper.
regards
Ken

Canopy and skirts.....
kca,
I would be very interested in your sun canopy and your skirts, both of which I would be useful to me if the price is right. Perhaps you could message me your contact details and we can discuss further.
I will be in Cumbria in a couple of weeks which may reduce shipping costs a little.
I look forward to hearing from you. James.

Re: Wanted! Designer Sun Canopy
[b]Thank you to all who helped out and made suggestions. I have now found, bought and used an original Canopy and the gentleman I bought it from was kind enough to sell me a pair of side skirts as well
With the original Awning I already had, I think I have everything for my Designer now and am one very very happy Dandy Camper!
Just on the off chance...... my dandy is a 1994 and I believe the plastic double glazed windows were fitted from the following year (1995). Does anyone know if the apperture size is the same? I would like to replace the main window (over the kitchen) with a double glazed unit so if anyone has one in the shed.....! Perhaps it happens to be the same size as a particular caravan window, which would be easier to locate? Any info would help, thanks...
