You can pack your Dandy away wet ...... good job really with the summer we've had!

Just a couple of things you may notice when you open it up again

The windows may have a 'milky' appearance - this clears and is nothing to worry about.

The folded pvc may slightly stick together if it's been left a while.

If there is a musty smell it will go away once the Dandy's been aired.

Ours seems to go away wet a lot this summer but it's no problem for the Dandy, just us as we end up soaked and one of us always gets very wet when we drop the back wall as the water that's gathered on the roof tips off ..... any advice to stop this would be very welcome. Very Happy

Not a numpty question Kevin, it's just what I call it but it's the solid wall with the window - kitchen window.

What do you think to unhooking the bungied end of the roof, then as you remove the centre roof bar pushing up on the roof in various places to remove any puddles.
If it works the difficulty will be remembering to do the procedure first.

Had a loose tarp up at Dent to act as a shelter to allow us to barbecue. It kept puddling and filling with water, the wind would then come along and all the water spill over one side or another.
One of my mates mistimed things and got the full contents (at least a couple of gallons) down the back of his neck.
    It was a complete disaster!
No video running to sell to you've been framed not even a camera so we could post the picture on. Not that anyone on here would laugh at another's misfortune.

This time we did undo the bungeed end as we want to clean the roof so folded it on top. I am going to try and use a soft brush next time to lift the centre of the roof and see if we can get the puddled bit off but the puddle forms when we drop the kitchen window wall and the centre bar lowers. All this of course is if we remember before we get wet lol!

when i get chance im going to make two more stretcher bars for the roof to stiffen it, so it doesn't sag so much and leave puddles on the roof. Pete

I seem to recall the puddle of forgetfullness on my last camper, might have to make a little sticker for up by the window pole to remind myself now! haha

Problem is that the puddle forms when the centre roof bar is removed as it sags in the centre when it's just on the two U bars so I don't know how we would do it without one of us getting wet ...... I can make sure it isn't me though What a Face
