My First Post and Our First Dandy...

Hi, I am new and just wanted to say hi to everyone, Dave and Wife Sara, !
We have just brought our first Dandy for a bargain price with a long story attached to it!, It is a Dandy Designer 1990's that has hardly been used with lots of original features etc, inc original awning!
We are in our mid 30's an we have two girls of 11 and 7yrs and Sara isn't interested in camping etc, but last week we tried it out for one night (a start!) and it went well!. As Sara is out numbered by Myself and the girls we are now looking to take it away for 2/3nights the end of July.
I have to improve only the electrics by installing 240v sockets etc with hook-up etc, great as my best friend is an electrician so that helps.
We live in Bridgwater, Somerset, so we are within good distances of some great areas to stay in.
Just thought i'd say hi and will enjoy the site, thanks for now!
Oh and our girls have named our dandy.. Candy!
