New foam and covers Empty New foam and covers

Post by bedwok Thu 03 Oct 2013, 10:11 pm

I am looking to replace all the foam and covers in my designer and after a few hours scouring the net i am non the wiser really. Couple of questions if anyone can help. Firstly to save me the time going to the storage and putting the dandy up does anyone have the rough dimensions of all the foam i will need just so i can get a ball park idea of costs.......i realize i will have to get accurate measurements before going ahead with anything ! Also has anyone had this done and therefore recommend a supplier (or one to avoid as the case maybe) that i could contact for a quote. Any help/ideas/advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Guestimating roughly,

The bed sizes are approx 6ft 4in long by 3ft 10 wide. One is split into two pieces each approx 2 ft wide.
The single bed is 6ft 4 long by 2ft wide divided into 4 pieces each about 1ft 7in x 2ft.

    Thickness is about 3 inches.

I would measure first and again before cutting though.

As this will be be a once only job it may be worth researching foam density a little.the mattress is only thin and you don't want full compression when your on it.
