2014 trips so far

just some pics since I got our 6... this was the first time up on the drive

a rotten awning although nearly thirty years old!

and then tidying the inside

First trip in January amongst the hail

Chilly but bright in the Peak district

The second choice campsite because the first, near Weymouth, was under water proved to be a blessing with great facilities and weather

and then camping near Corfe Castle in a woodland campsite

Yes room enough for family and kit on the river!

 great photo's love the chimney thing   if your good with the sewing machine you could get some PVC from the well known web site and re do an awning as you have the poles and the old awning for the pattern on u tube the show how to sew pvc

But I did get the sewing machine out to make matching cushions...

I remember that thread. The woman who unpacked it when you sent it to them was the woman who made it 20 years ago. The new one does look good.

     the cusions and they are a must have when camping makes the seat more comfortable

A local site for the May Bank Holiday weekend, together with some friends we lent them our Bell Tent.
We seemed to have bags of food everywhere!
The home made lantern hanging off the awning is a headtorch shining into a bottle of water, makes a great diffused light.



The site is in the woods and some of the pitches were very sheltered, different to a big field in the open.

Wonderful spot by the looks of things, love the way you're all sheltered in your own area. Great tip about the light   

That looks great and in your own woods looks a great place    will try the lamp great invention so simple    looks like the weather held out for you
