Fforest fields campsite. It really is lovely. It's quite spread out - not the square field camp round the edge type site -there are lots of numbered pitches, separated by trees and bushes and some pitches are all weather - ie gravel surrounded by grass. The rain just vanished - no wet feet as soon as you step outside!

There are lovely views of the surrounding countryside and several walks straight from the site so you don't need to use the car if you don't want to.

There is also a lake which you can swim in and the owners provide free canoes and fishing nets for campers' use.

There is a 'quiet area' with 6 pitches at the top end which states 'no noisy children or adults'.

The shower block is quite old but spotlessly clean. Three showers and four toilets for ladies and same for men. These are free of charge and work well but are very small. The ladies has a hairdrier which costs 20p for a very short time. You would need about £2-3 to dry long hair. However they provide 2 sockets for you to plug in your own drier.

The other side of the shower block is dish wash sinks and a clothing wash sink. There was also a microwave and a washing machine and iron! Since my idea of 'holiday' does not = 'ironing' I didn't sample it!

Costs £16 a night with EHU.
All showers and hot water free.
Campers 'fridges and freezers for your own use. (free)
Fridge full of basics like milk, orange juice, bacon, eggs and bread to purchase via 'honesty box'.
    Mobile 'phone charging centre.(free)
BBQs and Fire Pits for rental at £3 per night.
    Local welsh charcoal for sale
Bags of logs for sale (for fire pits)
