well just so we don't hurt your feelings you can bring the sloe gin and we'll force ourselves to drink it

you can even offer a 2nd bottle while we wash down your haddock, chips and mushy peas

I can make turkey sandwiches on boxing day Kevin with stuffing of course and I do like the odd battered sausage from the chip shop.

Haddock From Lancashire not Yorkshire it's cod.
Just remembered where this whole idea came from.
It was a thing about worms in cod. Had a piece a few weeks ago with a worm in. I would imagine most people just assume it's something like tendon as it's so stretchy.
Guess this is increasing the orders for pudding!

maybe it's a west yorkshire thing as i grew up in scarborough and we always had haddock

the steak pudding is sounding much more appetising

Pudding sounds good to me, only tried fish & Chips once since Mike's revelation and really didn't enjoy it so haven't bothered since, not even in Wales where my favourite chip shop is

I had Haddock and chips today it was very nice as usual,no idea where the Haddock was landed but guess it would be North Shields or maybe Whitby.
