dandy owner
Whey hey, we bought a Dandy today, a Delta, with an awning, went 520 mile round trip to collect it. Really pleased with it.

Re: dandy owner
I would go away as soon as possible because I would be so excited, we collected ours and went the weekend after. Even if it is local the fun will be sleeping in your Dandy oh and cooking breakfast too

Re: dandy owner
That's what it's for Beverley ........... mini meets. In Dandy land anything more than one Dandy is a meet as you don't often see them on the same site. We only saw one other in the first three years we had a Dandy

Re: dandy owner
its a blue one, i think early 90's as the drawer fronts pull down with handles, rather than slide across, it has an awning, and i negotiated with the guy on ebay. We think we got a bargain when you look at the prices some of the brown ones are going for and the price they are a riva dandy.
Not got any pics of it only the ones with the sellers children on, but when we get it all set up, i will take some and post for you.

As per normal probably confused things. Is it light blue? There are two different dark blues, one the last ones Riva Leisure made.
The other dark blue is contemporary to the green ones, mid sixties to early seventies, or for some number of years while the greens were being made.
Now as your saying it's wood all the way round that sounds very early dark blue, but it must have been kept in a garage or be in fantastic condition for some other reason for you to believe it to be early 90's if that were the case???
Light blues were 90's
Is it still on completed listings?
Kevin.

Re: dandy owner
Ah I've seen it in completed listings. See my comments re this in the section covering Dandys for sale.
An absolute steal.
The lady didn't say, I know it's insulated but does it have the underfloor heater as well???

Re: dandy owner
kevin, i got it from ebay, dealt with a man who was selling it, i dont think he knew the value of what he was selling, as you can see from my avitar, it is a pale blue, I did look at riva sales, and they want nearly double what we paid for a brown one, so you can see why we traveled 520 miles round trip to collect this one,
Helen, yes this is our dandy, she is lovely isnt she.

Re: dandy owner
Beverly
I'm quite happy it doesn't have an underfloor heater. For 95% of people it wont make a difference but I would have had to kill you if you had got a Delta with original awning and underfloor heater for £800.
Been looking for a light blue Designer/Discovery or Delta that was winterised with heater and awning for sub £1,000 for a while.
