We've Got One....a Dandying we will Go.

We have took the plunge ..
bought a Dandy Dart 200 mile round trip
We looked at these over 20years ago but decided on a caravan sold that 15 years ago after the kids grew up then bought tents 3 of, the last one being a bear lake 4 canvas lovely tent but too much hassle for short stays...
so at last we have the Dart got it set up on the 5th day after purchase due to work and rain ... must say I'm impressed.
can't believe its 18 years old and in immaculate condition,
hope to use it end of next week so I'll try and put some pics up.
Thanks to this forum for a mine of info giving us the confidence to Go For It..

You won't regret it. We have 16 year old Dart had for 10 years. A trusty friend.

it took us over 30 years to see the light

pure lux after tents bet your glad now especially with our weather now!, soon have to learn to tow with canoe

Dandy's are amazing and now you can see why we're all a bit nutty about them

It's so exciting when you go out the first time I agree with Caznumbers though a canoe may be a good accessory for us all to have

Congratulations on your dart. When we bought ours I spent days just sitting in it elated with it. But the best Rush of all is the time to move on and you don't have to wait for the canvas to dry. That Smug look on your face.

They do keep in very good shape, I doubt they're ever wear out.

Our classic Dandy is around 45 years old, and that is as good as new too. The tow car is just a bit older.

to the Dandy gang, hope you enjoy it lots on a good choice we changed to a Dandy from a caravan jest a few weeks ago now. But we have had 2 preeviouse dandies and loved the fun and hidehi campers we had so much .
