Where on the A frame.

Hi all. Just got a 1960's Dandy four from a friends parents garage. Good original condition with just a hint of mildew. I've been looking for the number on the A frame to find the exact age. Can anyone give me a clue to where I should be looking as I can't find anything?

Hello and congratulations on your first post.

Photos would help us identify how old it is.

Good luck in your search for a number on the A frame, we never have found one on Phoenix and we stripped her A frame to bare metal during her rebuild. The only clue we ever found was on a gas pipe with 1976 on it!!!

What colour is your Dandy?

As Mr Itch says we love photos and we can tell you a lot more about it from them.

It's a green un, a really early Dandy  60's

There is a green awning with poles. Not a clue yet how to assemble.

They're pretty straightforward on the older Dandy's but if you need any help don't hesitate to ask on here  

It looks like an early one. Haven't seen one with the marbled effect kitchen units and bedboards before. We also haven't seen an older one with fabric on the bed edges that matches the cushions, or that particular fabric. They are usually a brown pvc material. Mr Itches and Cazz's have plastic sinks instead of a stainless steel one we think. They will be able to shed more light when they see the pics.

I wondered if it had had a makeover many many years ago ....... looks cool though and fits in well with the age and colour of the Dandy
