    Hi,

    I have a brown and white 80s 4 berth dandy but the threaded bar for the jockey wheel clamp feels like it is close to snapping. Does anyone know what thread size the bar is? I think it is 8mm? James.

    I have a sneaking suspicion it may be an imperial thread. We haven't always had metric threads and I think dandy were a bit slow bringing them in.

    Ah okay. Thanks for the reply! I will have to bodge something for now then and try something more permanent after the weekend as we are off to wales tomorrow.

    I have gone down to the dandy tonight armed with a couple of bolts and the M8 threaded bolt fits so I will use that until I order a replacement next week. Here is to a good weekend of dandy Camping! Thanks for the replies!
