    I have two window stays in my Dimension where a screw has been lost. Ian at Riva has sent me new screws but they just turn in the hole and don't bite in the window. 

    How can I get the screws to tighten please?

    Finding it hard to visualise this without having a window stay in front of me.
    Do you mean some screws that attach the top of the window stay to the frame or the lock screws (or clamping screws) that hold the window at a tilt?
