well i have a dandy 6 from the 80's and it runs 12" mini wheels my old man who owned the dandy before me said that all dandys use mini wheels on there trailers as they were the cheapest and every tire garage in the country keep a stock of those size tires.

No idea never measured but as you say 3/8ths is favourite mini size though 7/16ths was also made by Indespension. see [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
If you pull off a nut and offer it up to any engineering or fastening supplier they will tell you the thread and bore in seconds.
Saw Caz(OZ) one zed ask about 12" (Fnarf, Fnarf) and when looking at Imp wheels saw this bit of automotive tech porn. Hope it's of some use. It's a joy to read someone not talking bollocks on a forum (ahem) [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Re the source of the 12" wheels on 6's (See comment to Caz/not this topic) a visit to a couple of Mini and Imp forums may provide illumination about their relative specifications but we would then need to know the relative sizes and positions of the units on the 6's relative to smaller Dandies. If we were to look at the smaller Dandies relative to a Destiny. If the standard small Dandy is the 3/8ths on 4"PCD then I'm reasonably confident that Indespension did not do units of above 750Kg in this size. Looking at 6's might just add to the confusion?
Kevin.
