    Hi All,
Can anyone recommend a suitable ground sheet for the PVC awning for my designer.
I think the dimensions are 4.45 wide x 2m deep.
    Many Thanks

have a look at Kampa products they do different types of groundsheets some of which can be cut.We don't use a ground sheet in our awning as try to camp on hard standing everytime.
Our local caravan place did these really cheap breathable sheets, the closest size was 5 x 2.5mtrs which would be okay as it could just fold up behind the awning side returns out of site,i think they were £6 only reason i didn't buy one was because they were out of stock.

We use a breathable sheet some say they cause condensation i dont believe this what i think is they do nothing to stop it and that's a different thing,if i am on dry grass i just use the breathable sheet if the ground is wet i slip a tarp under it,i walk about in socks or bare feet and the breathable is nice to walk on.

    Dear All

The breathable groundsheets are fine for dry sites but.....
My friend had a cheap quality "tarp" rather like the woven stuff that Nick illustrated in the awning of his caravan.
We were at the bottom of the hill and had the most torrential rain during the August Bank Holiday.
This is the only time I have ever seen standing water at the bottom of that hill.
When you walked on the tarp the water rose up out of the ground.
Guess which genius had offered his Dandy to friend with a new(ish) girlfriend and so was sleeping on the floor of the awning? Luckily the airbead spread my weight and being airtight it also tended to be waterproof.
It might not be grass friendly but the thickest quality Visqueen you can buy is often the best option.
If it gets too muddy and you don't want to mop the underside when striking camp it's also cheap enough to throw.
One edge is a maximum of 12' but as it comes on a roll the other dimension is unlimited.

    Kevin.

Looks like I'll need to find a tarp as well!
