Dandy Shelf

Just looking at a designer on ebay and saw this

Is that a custom shelf?

I quite like the look of it.

That's a designer .......... yes that's custom made and looks really strong.

Mines flush with the sink unit and I wouldn't be without it now as I've got used to having so much extra space.

The pic hasn't loaded for me.

I like yours Helen and I was going to copy however my cool box sits on that side and the shelf in the picture will give room for the box to open with a shelf over.

well spotted that looks good. Shaun can you work out how they made it?

I can now see it, clever idea. Do you think it's resting on the back of the seat for support, or just looks like it might be? We need one that height when that side is a bed.

The poles this side could be full length with feet to sit on the bed board

I think you're right.

Maybe use lift off hinges on the bed board side and a hook over the rear wall, wont hold masses of weight but should be enough for a dandy

It's just right for those bits and bobs that accumulate, and as you say, enough room underneath for a coolbox. And it's higher than the dogs nose height.

I agree yep I also think it hooks on the back board BUT wonder if it did hang from the roof then could have a couple of shelves for bits and bobs

it does but its the removing the rail each time think would it weekend the screw hole or depending on the gap left when folded my six does not but my 5 has

Ok still in thinking mode and had an idea

Crude picture time, the shelves just hang from chains (silver lines)
