hi.my green dandy has a form plastic sides,has anyone ideas on bringing them up to the original colour,i would like to keep the dandy original of poss.patrick

No ideas infact this is the exact oposite of what you want to do but it's the only thread I know concerning plastic sides.

Sorry to be a pessimist but i doubt you could return them to original due to the effect of sunlight if nothing else,shame you cant remove them and turn them over.If they are unpainted do they look any better when wet if so a coat of clear lacquer would give roughly the same finish.

Is it worth trying tyre and bumper gel or similar on them, we tried this on our whatsit wood sides, they come up a treat.

hi, you guys,many thanks for your ideas,the plastic primer and plastic paint might do the job.trying to keep green dandy as orignal as poss.thanks for all your help patrick
