hi everyone going to have a look at a couple of dandys over the weekend which the outside of one of the tents are not the best.is there a way of freshening the outside by painting and if so has anyone done it and with what,cheers dave

Do you mean the PVC roof and side walls. If so they can be cleaned using CIF crème cleaner and some elbow grease. They really do come up like new even when 50 years old. This can be used inside and out and the trailer cover. Then polish with Mr Sheen or similar.
Put some on a damp cloth and work in small circles. Then rinse off with a wet cloth or sponge.
The only thing we cannot clean off is the mark left by someone leaving the spare wheel on it.
