Sorry I don't mean to annoy you with the VW camper, but what other vehicle can you deliver a fridge freezer standing up in!! Or a washing machine, then go camping. Very Happy

The new ones will be a classic in 25 years, I could get used to one if I was lent one for the summer. Very Happy

So many good reasons Mike, I am trying to convince John to get one so we could travel further and stop off overnight in the campervan and not set the Dandy up until we get to our final destination

The best one i had was not a camper,it was a type 25 2.1 bus,i took all the seats out made a bench seat near the back leaving boot space fitted a cooker and sink,i have never really liked sleeping in them but they make great day vans.

Helen, that's the life, or eating dinner at a fantastic view point, ooh the looks you get. Very Happy

Mike I know what you mean, but we don't suffer from depreciation. It's my daily drive and is cheaper to insure than our 1992 Passat. Shame it won't be tax except. Crying or Very sad

They do take over your life though, there is always something to do. We've had ours nearly 6 years now.
