Re: Glamping is it for dandys
Oh I don't know Eilis, we had a couple of holes in our Old Dandy cover and I stuck large pink flowers over them and added a few more ( quite a lot more actually ) to balance it out ............ he really wasn't happy towing it

Re; Glamping
I thought that all Dandiers were 'Glampers' really. There's a considerable level of luxury even at a basic level, when compared to ordinary tenting. Having said that I couldn't imagine adding ornamentation of the type displayed, although I could imagine Helen setting to with paint brushes and suitable paints, once on site, to make her rig even more 'individual'. I suppose pvc would take patterns painted on and could also be cleaned for a home journey. Just think Helen, John wouldn't be embarrassed towing and you could be happy on site. I'd love to see some examples. Pity I'm not artistic enough to try it myself (On someone else's Dandy of course.)

Re: Glamping is it for dandys
yeah you couldn't do that for a short weekend or you'd finish setting up and have to start packing

Sounds like fun to me, some wash off felt tip's and a few water based paint's but I would be in trouble if it rained

Re' Glamping
You see, I knew Helen would be up for it. Now it's just a case of her finding herself away in the Dandy, with paints & brushes and when it's not raining or going to rain...... Er, not hoing to happen, is it? That's the problem of lving in a country with no climate, just weather!
