looking good how come the wheels have steel inserts is that due to them being and old design as not seen them before.I have looked into fitting Minilites on our dandy but it wont work on our dandy as not enough clearance due to the offset Crying or Very sad

hi ya Nick , right the steel inserts are on the four bolt holes , due to.. if no then when you tighten your nuts you will end up dancing like this re the bargin alloys 2702329197
sorry had to get that one in . !!!
today ive taken the brake drum off , the wheel fits the four wheel nuts but the centre hole is 1 to 2 mm to small .taken it to be milled out at an enginering company. tell you more after tuesday when i collect the wheels..
they are 10" alloys from the 70/80 s for mini.
    thank you neil.

call me if you need more imfo. 07973 - 151117. neil Cool

cheers Neil,i have heard that some wheels fit straight over the centres as they have slightly larger bores but proper factory wheels are like yours a tad small.I would be interested to know how much clearance you have between the tyre and the side of the trailer or inside the wheel arch.Good luck with them look forward to seeing some pics once fitted,
    Nick Smile
