I'm pleased we've had to sent ID to the site, my legs are held in with tent ropes and the number plate is stuck on with gaffa tape.

My number plate was stuck on with Duck tape as that was how I got the Dandy home from Edinburgh.
It is no longer stuck on. So off to shop in Peterborough tomorrow in car with no rear number plate.
See if I can blag a plate or just get the stick on letters.
Hooray Kevin gets a ride in a police car for Christmas.

It's been a mad house today, both kids and grandaughter have been and my brother and brother in law, I even got a present off my brother and that's not normal. My nails have been beautified with sparkly varnish and we are going to order a take away then try a few of Kevins sister pimped snowballs whilst we watch cheesy Christmas films.

Re: The twitter thread
Sorting through the goodies, and not so bright stuff left in the Dandy.
I've got a plastic bowl with a tight fitting lid that also has sliders that lock it in place.
The inside of the bowl then has a steel inner bowl that is sealed in place.
Any idea what it is???
Or will I be looking for the Beterware catalogue on line to find what wonderment I now own.

I'll try that, even though our instruction book says not to use melamine as it scorches.
I won't try porridge on them though, my bendy bowl nearly folded up and deposited it contents in the heater, I think a plate definatly will.
I could make flapjack on them.

Are you bringing it back with you? It sounds like a good talking point.

Re: The twitter thread
We do porridge in a small melamine bowl in the microwave Cazz and the only problem we have had is the milk frothing up over the edge and making a mess in the microwave.

Perhaps the instructions said, when on the grill setting. Would any one like plastic or melamine coated cheese on toast?

Re: The twitter thread
I found this out when I bought a skirt through the self service at Tesco, decided I had better try it on, went to the toilet and you guessed it , the alarm went and two very nice security quys came. took seconds to remove at the checkout. Bl--dy embarrassing though.
Glad to hear you are having a good time.

Re: The twitter thread
Good Morning Mike, such a nuisance when you have to go back because of security tags, we once bought Laura a coat and it had more than one tag but the girl on the till only removed one but the other was difficult to find and when we went in a few shops it set alarms off, we didn't know it was there for ages and when we did find it had to go back anyway as the coat was faulty but the mystery was finally solved as to why we were setting alarms off everywhere we went
The weather has been brilliant for the Christmas meet and I am really pleased for you all.

We didn't go as both of us have been in hospital, just bad timing for us. I have spent all Christmas in bed as I had 6 lumbar facet joint injections on the 23rd and have to stay rested for at least 48 hours to stop the steroids dispersing. I'm also a bit sore but moving around a bit now. We were gutted as we wanted to go to this one and the weather has been great. I haven't been able to wear my lovely Christmas dress so at least my new years resolution won't be to lose weight so I can wear it next Christmas.
