I have just been looking and haven't found a thread relating to servicing a Dandy yourself and not everyone is within striking distance of Riva so if you have any advice or opinions that may help please post here so we can collect the information and post a thread in the information area to help other Dandy owners.

The following link gives useful advice on servicing trailers in general.
It may appeal to the Dandy owner who likes keeping their camper in good mechanical order.

A bit confused as far as brakes go it's covered [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] With the original instructions issued with Dandys.
Not really important as far as Dandy owners are concerned but if servicing a braked trailer with over centre brakes.
YOU MUST place a bolt in the area for a locking bolt or tie the brake handle down before attempting to service the brakes. This isn't made clear in the above article.

we use a local mobile caravan mechanic trades as DH2U,he covers Durham,Northumberland,Cleveland and Tyne and wear.
He charged us £50 for chassis service which was worth it he stripped down all the brakes re greased bearings etc.

That's a good tip Nick most people will be able to find someone who offers a similar service.
