A to Z of camping

Don't know if this'll work but thought we could give another one of my daft idea's a try.

We go through the alphabet and the first letter has to be the next in the alphabet and has to relate to camping not necessarily camping stuff but anything you can think of.

A - Argument - we usually have one when putting up the awning

Battery- Lighting and whale pump.

C - Camping injury, banging head on underside of bed trying to plug in Minnie's EHU.

Dogs - like the one in Phoenix rebuild. Looks right at home in a dandy.

Elsan toilet

Fair - the weather we wish for to make our camping trips more pleasant

Gazebo ..... seen so many of the cheaper type twisted in the wind or flying across the campsite

Heat wave

Igloo

Like we need at the moment

Jump leads - when you forget to unplug the electric coolbox / fridge.

Kite ..... for our granddaughter

Loo Roll ...... so annoying when you get to the toilets and there's none there

Money.......For going to the pub.

Noose ..... for husband

1/ after he has dropped awning roof pole on my head when erecting the frame
2/ he's drank too much and kept me awake with his snoring (gets louder the more he's drank)
3/ he's filled the small porta loo full and not said anything for the same reason as the above

I had to google palliasse too - nice word.

Route - always good to know how to get where you're going

When we were kids we used a palliasse. We made it out of an old sheet and filled it with straw at the camping field. Very warm & comfy in the old ten man bell tent. We used blankets held together with blanket pins.
