Water outlet pipe

Can't believe how stupid we have been, for the first 8 years we had the Dandy we didn't realise that the pipe from under the sink actually comes off and had been trying to pack it away as we were shown by simply squashing it under the unit.

We discovered it came off when we wanted to extend it only a few months ago after years and years and now we simply store it in the front box and push it on when we are set up.

We simply have to remember to put it on before we test the tap is working properly, I have no doubt that at some point we will forget and end up with water in the top cupboard that needs mopping up but it is so much easier now.

I am only admitting to this to let others who may have been struggling like we were.

We store ours inside the dandy so before packing away we run clean water down the sink and the i stand in the field and swing the pipe round to force any water out.

I will have to watch out for you swinging yours about in the field in future

I got some lovely Thetford Grey waste deodriser and I pour some into the sink, this removes any grease from the pipes and waste container and smells lovely, I do also rinse before removing the pipe but just found it easier to stick it in a bag and then in the front box.

oh yes that was lovely my sink smelled lush after you poured that in

The smell lasts for ages too and it only cost £6 and not the £34 John thought I had paid

lol poor john being blamed for that while you were looking at the petrol bill

that does sound nice tho, i can feel a trip to the local camping shop coming on soon

I do the swinging pipe thing in the field but not with the water pipe I like the noise it makes

Don't be sorry Eilis to be fair it is usually John getting the blame

Cazz that brings back memory's, I may have to swing mine about too now ............. I can always tell my other half it's just to get excess water out
