We are sat in the back of the campervan on a 3 seater seat, the dog has nearly 2 seats!!! Talk about taking advantage of our good nature when hes feeling under the weather.

He was at the vet again this morning, she is very pleased with his progress so far, and wants to see him again on Tuesday. If he hasn't improved further by then, they will do more tests on him. Thank goodness he is insured!!!

We are not the new owners of a 6 Crying or Very sad

I was unable to go and bring it home at the moment so John went with Adam, the Dandy was not suitable for the purpose that we wanted it to be so they walked away Shocked

I have never yet not gone through with a purchase and would have loved to be able to say we had got it but in this case it wasn't to be, luckily I haven't lost a deposit because the seller couldn't invoice for anything less than the full price.

Don't worry about the Sale of the Discovery it will go ahead as planned and we will find the right 6 in the end.

I would advise anyone to go and take a look first, even if you are familiar with Dandys.

Well I was going to say that the combination of ferry, fuel and fees must get to over £650.00. I don't think they will have the same adventure as Caz but I'm wondering how you get under £650.00. I would imagine your looking at £130.00 in fuel to get from home to Dover and back.
Guess your not looking at £20+ per night sites. Obviously not just me and Cazz who are a bit on the careful side.
Any chance of a look at the planned budget?

Must have missed this one £650 affraid that's the cost of a dandy and you pay that every year for a week,i paid £750 for this one two years ago and have had more time away than i can be bothered to calculate but i know i have already had a much better deal than £650 every year.,remember he only gets a week for that.

No that is the AL-KO hitch.

The trailer number is on the top of the A frame on the near side at about that point where a gas box ends.

yep as soon as I have one set but going for municiple sites and free camping as got power packs and battery's for lights and fire for heat and cooking but think most of our cost's will be fuel with all the travelling we plan to do est £500.00 so if you times their holl that's for 1 week in Portugal for £650 x 3 = £ 1,250 think I'm cheaper bounce bounce bounce bounce

Our dodgey internet connection has been pinned down to a faulty sim, a new one has been ordered. So when that arrives I will be back to full speed.

Bomff is no better, in fact he was a little worse yesterday, so hes at the vets today having further tests and investigations. We'll see what happens, but we feel his age and history has caught up with him. Sad

Bomff is home, he was let out early due to barking too much and upsetting the other patents. Rolling Eyes He came through his GA incredible well with his dodgey heart. He is currently very lively and into everything, how does that work? Strange dog!!

His tests have shown nothing conclusive, which is good, but we still don't know what's wrong, perhaps more symptoms will show up in time.

Hes had a steroid and something injection to boost his appetite, we've to ring back to tomorrow with any change. As long as he is happy and has a spark we'll do what we can for him.

We are very pleased to have him home, looking at him last night, he was really sad and sorry for himself, we really didn't think he would be coming home. But he is a strong dog, with lots of spirit. Very Happy
