Re: Dandy bed knobs
I scrolled down but no picture it says they are having problems with adverts. I just want posh knobs that will fit my dandy so long as the knob doe's the job it's meant to do efficiently then I will be satisfied.

Re: Dandy bed knobs
You would just need to check the thread size on your dandy so you could fit threaded bar into it,but arnt they great.

I liked Phoenix's knobs as well, they looked smart, tidy and practical. That link is handy to have, thank you.

Re: Dandy bed knobs
I saw the title and was intrigued, but to my dismay, they are no longer on the site. What exactly are the knobs for? And are they still available anywhere else?

Hi kriston, the bed knobs are for tightening and loosening the bottom of the bed legs. Phoenixs were rather nice and round, like balls on the bolt head. We were all easily pleased at Christmas, lol.
Have yet tried a googling resin knobs?

Re: Dandy bed knobs
I didn't even realise they tightened/loosened lol. I have much to learn. I have also been reading other topics, and some I do not understand. I'm sure I will learn. Even if it's the hard way lol.

Any thing new is bewildering, but it is easy when you've done it a few times. Feel free to ask away, I might learn something also.
The metal bed legs bottoms are raised for travelling and lowered when it's erected.
Have you seen the clip on you tube of how to put up a Dandy? That's where we learnt lots of bites of information.

Re: Dandy bed knobs
Hi KristOn,
I have put the link on again for you, this site can be a pain sometimes. The advert goes sometimes but does come back again. The knobs are for tightening the bed legs in position. You will need to find out the thread rating in your leg holder, Mike's were M8 1.25. The knobs on Phoenix which are original are 1 1/2" in diameter. You will then need to get a length of threaded rod and matching nuts. Cut off the length of stud your require, thread into the knob and lock of with a nut. Hope this helps.

Re: Dandy bed knobs
aahhhhh!!!
Mine is the Destiny 2006 model. The legs don't work like that. The beds fold out from the ends instead of the sides, and then the bars connect to the ends of the trailer, not touching the floor at all. I could really do with instructions, but can't find anything on Destiny
Thanks for the explanation an pics

I've learnt two things tonight, the first about thread lengths, and the second that your Dandy legs are different.

Not sure but i was given some 2 years ago and they where the wrong thread so it looks like there may be at least two

Re: Dandy bed knobs
these look as though they might do the job, there is a branch in Warrington so I might get a set of 8mm males, they seem pretty cheap.
