Re: weather, where you are
All the windows have been open and it was lovely to go outside without having to put a coat on. It really was camping weather here and it seems to be lighter later now.
My Solar lights are shining brightly now. Woo hoo, I think they have just come out of hibernation.

Re: weather, where you are
Weather has been lovely here but there has been a very cold wind, it's beautiful today though. John got the drive pressure washed yesterday, the back garden fence has been treated and the posts painted white again just got the railings at the front and gates to paint but they can wait a while .......... The Dandy is getting an airing today.

I think you could be right, it didn't get much of a test at Christmas. Do you think we all sat outside more on Boxing day than you will at Easter?

and to think some people start camping at Easter because it's meant to be warmer. They'll wish they'd gone at Christmas instead.

Re: weather, where you are
It's been a bit breezy here today IN APRIL with some rain this morning but a big difference from what we had last week. Showing all the snow on the tv and more forecast for Wales and Yorkshire tomorrow and no doubt we will get some.

Re: weather, where you are
IT'S SNOWING! and it's horizontal snow. It might not be sticking but it's 'orrible. Just been playing Captain Oates and had the dogs out and I don't know which of us was happier to get back home. My ears is cold and my nose is cold and my toes is cold and now our two hairy steamers won't let me get near the fire. I had a quick look around our site on the way back and we've got quite a few early Easter campers. Oh the joys of tenting! I bet all of them wish they had Dandys.

Re: weather, where you are
Awww those poor people, it's horrible being in a tent in that sort of weather .......... we decided to brave it once and ended up ditching the tent after two freezing night's, we gave up on night 3 when we couldn't get warm and arrived home about 2.30 in the morning and the first thing I did was jump in a warm bubble bath to defrost myself, that was the best bath I've ever had and we both slept like logs that night. It's getting very very windy here now but no sign of snow yet
