Got all excited I was just torn between just packing and setting off or asking you who Pes is.

We've had heavy rain and hail all week, today it's sunny..lovely!:-)

I'm having a moan about the weather again, it's not stopped raining again today and it's really windy too. You look out of the window and it makes you glum ...... not as glum as John though as he is about to venture out with the dog

very confused as the weatherman said batten down the hatches and brace yourself for high winds and floods panicked abit as have to take son to hosp and the road there is not the best on a good day so up early to leave early sunny OK maybe when we are on the way no so sorry every on that has had the rain we didn't it has been pleasant few showers and sunny so rainbow hunting was the order of the day

Very wet but extremely windy again here. We have a bit of damage to the garage roof and it's going to bad for the whole day.

I hope your garage roof holds out ok, and the caravan collection goes safely.

Raining at Holmfirth, I guess it's windy out of our protected valley at Holmvalley.

Windy isn't really the word, we have 60mph gusts

We've just arrangements to collect the Caravan tomorrow evening instead, we would be nuts to go collect it with the weather warnings we have today. We can access the secure storage until 9pm, the couple who we're getting it from are lovely and totally understand.

That sounds very wise, in this valley leaves aren't even blowing . we've no tv and the radio not been put on yet, this forum has been our only link to the outside world, thank you for the warning.

Your better of staying where you are, it's horrendous and the forecast for all England and Wales is that it won't stop until tomorrow morning.

Flip, the new Dandy was going/is going up later - in the rain, it's probably windyer at home than in our I wind free valley, what time is everyone coming to visit?

we had high winds last night battened down the hatches boy it was nasty. now got monsoon rain back yard filling up as looks like drains blocked so soon have a swimming pool at the back oooh posh raining that much river flowing down the road in front and dogs hounding me to go out see if it lay's off then i will go or not ...

have I slept through the summer ? or blink and miss it ? Thought that the saying " don't throw clout out till May's out " always thought that May not being the month but being the black thorn flower which I might add is well and truly out in full bloom as soon as I typed this I just got blinded by sunshine ha still got high winds and black clouds and still got the heating on

I AM GETTING MIFFED NOW STILL RAINING AND THE WINDS HAVE STARTED UP AGAIN BUT THE REASON THAT IM MIFFED EVEN NARKED NEED TO GET THE BIG GIRL ( 6) OUT AND SPRUCED UP PUT SHELVES IN THE START TO THE NEVER ENDING LIST AND GLAM HER UP ABIT

Think about this statement the weather man has just made,next week will be the best weather since march
