Come on kevin you know riva if he had too much brown pvc he may have used it but i think the general rule of thumb stands that white interior batwings are a sign of insulation unless like Jayne you have a white dandy,i would have thought most owners would take the choice of making the interior lighter with white but if one wanted brown they would have got it.

Just about to post your add on one of the Dandy forums.
Is the interior photograph of your Dandy? I'm puzzled as the wings are sandwiched brown and white but the interior shot is all brown.

Reading the add it must be an early 1995 to have glass windows. When was the double glazing introduced?

Double glazing 95 onwards i think they also added worktops to the top of the kitchen unit as well in 95.
its that time of the year if you want top money for your Dandy sell it now.If i could have managed to store our fully winterised 94 Delta with fully Dandy awning just a couple of months i could have got £300-500 more for it.

Yes have thought about getting my designer some gas lifts but I think we have now decided to go for a 6. Might go and check out Riva in the next couple of days if the two Destinys are still there, altho' they are both quite highly priced with no accessories that often come with private sale. It's quite tempting to just trade in mine against a 6 at riva though - no ebay stress and it comes fully serviced! decisions.......

The combination of a skirt and no awning struck me. As did the plastic picnic table which only work if your sub 10 stone.
Now was it 2003 that it became Riva Dandy so light blues could be produced up till 2003?

It certainly looks brown inside and unfortunately the outside is single colour brown not sandwiched with white or coffee.

I just spoke to Ian about the two 6s and the brown is insulated with brown interior walls. Neither of them have electrics or gas struts. The older brown one is priced because it's in v good condition he said. Not sure whether it's worth the price though as getting gas struts would be another few hundred. Perhaps if it's still there next week I will go and check it out.

If that is a 2003 then it will be one of the last Dandy's built to a standard not a price.

I have seen dandy's for sale listed as late 90s model yet they sport glass windows.

It is a nice looking unit but £1800 without an awning it needs to be,still i guess if you bought it and used it pleanty then what ever

Dandy 6 No pictures yet. Brown and Cream. Recently replaced brakes. Non original awning with a small rip. That's the awning I think.
