Actually it looks like I might not be - you can't view till Saturday unless you put it up yourself and I have been told to look at pictures of others to see what it's like. that means I would have to buy it blind as the auction ends before saturday!!!

I had a reply that it looks exactly like the ones in the photo's so it's a guessing game for now as to what is actually being sold.

Yet they are ending the auction in a couple of days and not able to put pics up. Does seem a bit strange.

This Destiny is a Designer though isn't it? One option is to bid blind and walk away if it's not a Destiny. Other option is what are you doing Wednesday? I don't want to waste your and my time for a Destiny that isnt so we could do with establishing what it is first.

Just realised I have made a mistake - I can go and view and open it myself before it ends if i want as the seller is not able to do so. Anyone live near Wigan who would be willing to meet me there as I don't know how to open a Destiny up and don't want to ruin someonelse's camper!
any offer of help would be appreciated.

the person selling has no idea about it as it's her partners and he isn't back till sat when they will open it up. I think we have decided to wait till then as it seems a bid odd all round. I certainly don't want another designer! or even a destiny if it's not ok!

Some one retracted their own bid so that the buy it now would come back and clicked the buy it now on the Destiny.

It's probably a great bargain if it is a 6. Maybe someone will come on the forum and tell us soon!

Silly me I didn't look at the bit beneath.
Now you probably know a lot more about eBay than me but........
If they retract their bid then as there is no bid history might their identity change?
It's just that it was only 11 seconds between the retraction and the £800 bid. That would be some happy accident.
Deja Vu when I first started looking on eBay I couldn't view completed listings properly, it was Ali who explained it to me.

Lol!
They can't change ID that fast but they could retract and a partner could buy it now with their id. Who knows? It was all a bit odd in the first place!

We've bought items from him before, he is a nice bloke and we've found very honest with his descriptions.

I just noticed that the original bid retracter for the Destiny has made 11 bid retractions in last 6 months. Seems very fishy!
