=we stayed at Park Foot site nr Pooley Bridge, for 4nights.The site is a large site with good facilities such as club house, large shower/toilet blocks etc.
The onsite Shop was very good with reasonably priced products such as electric camping cookers for £19.50 which is same price as Aldi were doing them for.
We had a Pitch with EHU it was £20 for 1st 3nights then we paid £18 for the tuesday probably because the club and restaurant is closed mid week. The site is made up of holiday chalets, statics fields with EHU and basic camping fields.
Our large pitch was gravel covered which was great as the Awning had no condensation,it would had it been on grass. The Pitches all looked level ours was nice and flat so nice and easy to set up.Our view was overlooking Ullswater so cannot complain.
The local village is 10min walk along the lake path from the site and the village has 3 pubs a post office and a couple of touristy shops.
I would imagine its horrendous when the brats are off and all 250 pitches are occupied, but it was nice and quiet when we were there, for the last 2 days there was only 4 other pitches in use in the field we were in,bliss.
