HI Just to say hello and let you know I have just bought a Designer. I had gas struts fitted the same day I picked it up, they cost £200 fitted and they work a treat, if anyone is interested phone Richard on 07800 735 836 he lives near Stoke on Trent.

to the forum and on your dandy,the guy that fitted the struts is that the same one who does wheel chair conversions if so he is a member and i mailed him to ask if he would like to put an add on here.

to dandyland, it's not quite the same as the real world but you'll get used to it

My discovery has "Richard" struts fitted and they seem to work well, but keep an eye on the rivets in your bed hinges,there is a theory that the struts put more stress on them. I replaced one yesterday but its simple enough to do.
