Hi to All, I am not a Dandy owner at the moment but expect to be in the near future.
I suppose you could call me a "Dandy groupie" here to glean knowledge of existing owners.....in the nicest possible way.

Thanks for letting me aboard. Billy.

Hi Mike, I am using my trusty tent but find it a bit sore on the bones now. I have no space to store a caravan but could keep another trailer at my house.

What I like about the Dandies are there compact size for storing but good space when erected.

    Regards Bill.

Still got my tents keep kidding myself they will be used again lol! but i dont see it happening, dont forget the other big advantage with a dandy no need to erect at home for drying.

Good point about the not having to dry them out too. I was down at Macclesfield a couple of weeks ago and heavy rain on the Saturday afternoon and most of the night. Tent was dry enough but my sleeping bag was damp. Probably packed away my stuff too early as the Sunday was really hot and would have done it for me.

Hi Billy and welcome, I have a garage full of tents always intending to use one for a weekend (just for nostalgia)
but its just so much easier to pull the Dandy out and easier to erect and pack away that we just never get around to actually getting a tent out and all of the other necessary stuff.

Hope you find what you are looking for soon.

Greetings and welcome to one of the friendliest sites around. Hope that you find what you want soon. Meanwhile don't be shy and don't hold back on questions. Also, don't forget that you can still add your experience of camping to the forum with site & gear reviews, stories or anything that will keep us amused. The forums growing steadily in members but everybody's input is valuable.
