This is a nice little site right next to the canal with lock gates etc. Lovely to sit and watch the boats go by or hire one yourself. There is a lot of leisure boating goes on and a nice towpath to walk along. A nearby pub and a cafe where they do really good cheap food with a canal atmosphere.

Slimbridge wildlife park is really close. This was set up by Sir Peter Scott and is a wildlife trust with lots of water birds. All diffferent types depending on what's migrating at the time.

Only problem is that the roof lights in the toilets give you a view inside all the cubicles at night. Only a problem when its dark though.
It's open all year. Probably get a hard standing which you can do in a destiny.
